TITLE Parents in China protest COVID-19 child separation (TIME magazine's title)

China has adopted a zero-COVID policy that raised the discontent of the Chinese citizens for the strong restrictions that were also affecting personal relationships.

This article specifically walks us through families' experiences when kids had to be separated from parents because of COVID infection. Kids were in shock and parents started to protest so loudly that even foreign diplomats sent letters to the government, asking to stop the practice.

At the moment of the article's publication, it seemed that some exceptions started to be granted, however with unclear rules on their application.
