My dear teacher of Chinese grammar Clara, back at my college time, had this book in her office and I ended up by buying one too!
In fact, the measure words are one of the Chinese's students nightmares, even if, if you think about some of them, they make totally sense! We also use some of them, when we say "a glass, a cup.. a feet..."! Measure words reminded me a bit of the ancient Greek language: I think that Chinese uses them to give further hints! to better understand!
The book is nicely organized in alphabetical order and offers several good examples for the learner to understand better each measure word's usage.
It is one of my favorite. I made sure to link similar measure words, by noting the pages' numbers on their side.
The best next step would be to have this book on an IPad, allowing you to interact with it to add some other words or meanings that might be missing, here and there, or, as I did on paper, to connect those that are similar in use or meaning.
