The song was composed by Tang Xiao Kang (汤小康) and took off when Harlem Yu chose to record "Qing Fei De Yi" in 2001 as the opening theme song for the hit Taiwanese drama, Meteor Garden.
Harlem Yu performed the song, as a cameo, in the final episode of MG 2001, and once again in the remake of 2018. In both the episodes he played the role of a street musician performing the song.
Harlem Yu inserted this ballad into his twelfth studio album, Tidal Wave.
